Preparation Method:
5-Amino-4-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3-one can be prepared by various methods, one of which is commonly used:
First, 2-hydroxybenzoyl chloride was obtained by the reaction of phenol and formyl chloride under the catalysis of KOH. 2-Hydroxybenzoyl chloride is then reacted with methyl carbamate to produce 5-amino-2-methoxycarbonylbenzoyl chloride. Finally, 5-amino-2-methoxycarbonylbenzoyl chloride was reacted with ammonia and decarbonylated under acid-base conditions to give the target product 5-Amino-4-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3-one.
